A lover of stories:

I've always loved good stories, especially where men and women overcame all and fell in love. So it's little wonder that I turned to writing romantic fiction.

An author in real life:

I live in the Midwest and am a member of Romance Writers of America. Travel, gardening, our pets, and amateur photography rank high on fun stuff. My husband and grown-up daughter are the best and share this journey with me. Thank Heaven for their understanding support, especially when I type 'The End.'

By day, I work at a university, a great place for writing research, which I also enjoy. (Perhaps left over from college days while earning a degree in Behavioral Science.) Now, very often when fact and my imagination get together, story ideas/images rise. It's when they meet up with chocolate and my keyboard that the fun really begins!

Finding her niche:

Once, I'd dabbled in mysteries. However, romance intruded in immense proportions. Enough so that what mattered most was, "Will the lonely detective get the girl of his dreams?"

So...answering 'the call', I now write entertaining romantic stories with upbeat endings. Or, stories of the heart--where heroes and heroines fall in true love. Forever.

A nice niche, this is, from where I write.
